I'm not sure how to translate this. Here's the context:

"Из прежних знакомых заходил ко мне теперь только Ян, а единственным близким другом моим стал в тот период телевизор "Адвэнчурэр". я вспоминаю его пыльное пластиковое серое тельце, как тело друга... "Адвэнчурэр" благожелательно внимал мне - мой маленький дешевый друг, приобретенный уже в побитом судьбой состоянии за двадцатку, и развлекал меня, как мог."
