In February 2014, the 1992 Fund filed an intervention before the Maritime Court of First Instance to defend the 1992 Fund’s interests and to challenge the quantum of the losses claimed by the clean-up contractors. By agreement between the parties, the date of the initial hearing was adjourned to October 2014, at which both the clean-up contractors’ claim and the 1992 Fund’s intervention will be heard by the Court.
