es geht hier um den Beruf des Harzers (Pechers). Ich bin etwas verunsichert, was mit der eingesternten Formulierung gemeint ist. Die Technik wird heute versuchsweise angewandt? Oder zu Experimentationszwecken? Danke im Voraus!

Jusqu’au milieu du XXème siècle, cette activité constitue une importante source de revenus avant de décliner dans les années 1960. A l’heure actuelle, la récolte de la résine *est pratiquée à titre expérimental*.
