: you should still give an interpretation: here in Catalan/Valencian it the same legal context, and the letters stand for the same words as in Spanish; wouldn't work in French or German, for example...(different legal context, anyway)

I suppose someone in this bestiary has to stick their neck out and and actually provide an English explanation for the acronym. Could be "Land Use", too.
It's all very well not translating it but the poor sap who has to read it should at least be helped to understand what the thing means, no? or did you only want the letters unravelled?
