Bio
I am US citizen, born in Minnesota, and I attended Swedish public schools in Uppsala and Lund during elementary and secondary school. I graduated from Yale University, and did graduate work at the University of Chicago. During the course of my education I studied Spanish, German, Hebrew, Greek and Latin.
I then worked for a rare book dealer who mostly sold books in French, Italian and Spanish, because they were records of the early explorers.
I then started a used computer business that became my primary involvement for the next 12 years. I continue to work with software, with a Swedish application that has gone through the US DOD's Information Assurance program for devices that connect to DOD networks.
I have been translating for a variety of different agencies off and on since 1985. I have extensive experience with IT, networks and computer and application support I also have extensive experience with telecom, IT security and public works, and have dealt with a variety of customers in different industries who are responsible for emergency preparedness, disaster and business resumption planning.
I've written a column for a weekly newspaper and co-wrote a book on the history of Antique Maps of the Holy Land.
