I have extensive experience in the translation business from my education and my career at Sweden´s leading translation agency. The current self-employment is the ideal step in my career since it is based on my deep interest in languages, skills in translation and quality processes along with my IT and business skills. I have a deep understanding of what is required from a professional translator and editor.

Profile
Technical translation, localization, transcreation, linguistic review, and editing services mainly from English and German, but also from Danish and Norwegian into Swedish. Specialization in IT, Computer SW/HW, and telecommunications.

Experience
Translation, transcreation and/or linguistic review of IT and telecom web/marketing/retail content; ERP software and user guides; Hardware user guides; Translation/review of user documentation/marketing material, in the fields of mechanical and electrical engineering, e.g. digital locking systems, automation, rail & road transport, heating boilers; Localization of a ticket sales system; e-learning software and help; Idea management software localization; UI, online help and user doc for document automation products; Translation of a German dictionary into Swedish including 12,000 entries with definitions, usage examples and idioms.

What is translation?
Words matter. Translation is more than just combining words. Translation is transferring the correct meaning and feeling of the source text, as intended by the writer, into the target language.
