✰ For 30 years, since 1991, I have been a
specialized translator from English and German into my native Italian. My focus
is on patent and technical translation, especially in the automotive,
engineering, and packaging machine fields. Being born and bred in Emilia
Romagna, known as Motor Valley and Packaging Valley for its industries, may
have influenced my specializations!


These highly technical fields of translation require excellent knowledge of
English and German, and absolute precision to ensure uniform terminology in the
Italian version, a must for patent translations too.

product description sheets, validation documents ☜ for German- and English-language companies active on the Italian market
in technical fields including automotive, engineering, automation, and
automatic packaging.

✔ Patent translations

Translating patents from English or German into Italian is one of my major
specializations. I developed expertise in the art and technique of patent
translation — which includes intellectual and industrial property rights —
through continuing education and decades of hands-on experience.

🎓 I have a degree in translation and interpretation from the Scuola
Superiore per Interpreti e Traduttori of Bologna (Advanced School for
Interpreters and Translators) and started my professional career right after
graduation.

I am a devotee of continuing education, essential to keeping my technical
skills sharp. I keep my knowledge about the automation, packaging, and
automotive industries up to date by taking part in trade fairs, conferences,
taking classes and webinars, and reading industry magazines.

🌟 I am an associate member of ITI (Institute of Translation and
Interpreting) as a translator from German and English into Italian. Earning
membership requires years of experience and client references.

I am also a member of IAPTI (International Association of Professional
Translators and Interpreters) and adhere fully to its translator ethics code.
