Greetings!

Located in Cologne, Germany, I have started translating in 2007, right after completing my MA in English and German at the University of Cologne. My experience in linguistic and cultural translations is also of a very practical nature, since I have been working in international academia for the last 14 years with a non-profit education abroad provider that custom-designs academic programs for mainly US universities. This is why I also have organizational and management skills under my belt.

What else you should know about me: 

• As a believer in life-long learning, I am studying towards a BA in computer science. I am very much interested in and familiar with IT and tech topics.
• You can rely on me. I am well organized, keep my deadlines and will always seek to deliver the best result possible. I have worked in real-world international business environments and know the importance of quality and customer satisfaction. 

• I do enjoy textual work and nerdy activities like writing code. American studies was the focus of the second half of my MA degree.
• I play the guitar and record music (not so much recording recently) - I love and collect music.
• I like novels and I like cycling
