Strong Finish in Sight, Strong Start to Come
Dear colleague:
Today we released Wolters Kluwer’s third-quarter financial results for 2006. These figures show solid results through the first nine months of 2006, with revenue growth of 7%, organic revenue growth or 4%, and particularly strong performance from the Corporate & Financial Services and Tax, Accounting & Legal divisions. We are well on course to meet our goals for 2006 and for the three-year strategy to transform Wolters Kluwer. Thank you for the hard work that went into achieving these results.
My last message to you detailed Wolters Kluwer’s strategy for 2007 and beyond announced on September 27. The four new strategic imperatives – grow our leading positions, capture key adjacent markets, exploit global scale and scope, and institutionalize operational excellence - provide a framework around which to structure all initiatives going forward, helping us accelerate profitable growth and focus on serving our customers as the Professional’s First Choice.
Since September 27, many activities have been organized around our forward-looking strategy. I have taken part in several events and town hall meetings and have seen an exceptional degree of enthusiasm and support for the strategy. This is a very positive sign of the transformation that we have undergone as a company – from a loosely focused organization to a more mature one that understands the importance of strategic planning.
Let’s all do our part to flawlessly execute our current strategy through the final quarter of 2006 and bring the three-year plan to a successful conclusion. By meeting our goals, we will set the stage to begin 2007 – and our new strategy – with energy and confidence.

Ma adtuk közre a Wolters Kluwer 2006 harmadik negyedévi pénzügyi eredményeit. Ezek a számok megbízható eredményeket mutatnak 2006 első kilenc hónapjára, a bevételek 7%-kal, a rendszeres bevételek 4%-kal növekedtek, és különösen erős teljesítmény mutatkozott a Corporate & Financial Services és a Tax, Accounting & Legal részlegek területén. Szeptember 27. óta számos eseményt szerveztünk jövőbe tekintő stratégiánkhoz kapcsolódóan. Több rendezvényen és városházi találkozón vettem részt, ahol rendkívüli lelkesedést és támogatást tapasztaltam. Ez nagyon pozitív jele az átalakulásnak melyen vállalatunk átment, a szerteágazó szervezet érettebbé vált, megérti a stratégiai tervezés fontosságát.
Vegyük ki mindannyian a részünket jelenlegi stratégiánk megvalósításából a 2006-os év utolsó negyedévében és vigyük sikerre a három éves tervet. Céljaink elérésével megalapozzuk a 2007-es év és új stratégiánk energikus és magabiztos elindítását.

DS-Spedition liefert Schrottpressen von Norditalien bis in den Ural
Kombinierte Ladungsverkehre von Europa bis an den östlichen Rand des europäischen Kontinents sind immer eine Herausforderung für jede Spedition. Wenn die Ladung aber noch überbreit und mit knapp 45 Tonnen überschwer ist, dann ist ohne jahrelanges Know-how im KLV eine termingerechte Lieferung nicht mehr zu realisieren. Für diese Aufgabe wurden von der DS-Spedition die jeweils erfahrensten Spezialisten, bezogen auf LKW-Schwertransporte über die Alpen und Projektlogistik für Transporte nach Russland, in einem Projektteam zusammen gebracht. Von Norditalien wurden die Schrottpressen mit Schwertransportern über die Alpen und quer durch Deutschland nach Lübeck geliefert und dort von den
DS-Spezialisten für Projektlogistik nach St. Petersburg verschifft. Hier wurden die Schrottpressen, beaufsichtigt von einem angereisten Mitarbeiter der DS-Spedition, auf LKWSchwertransporter verteilt und bis zum Ural transportiert. Selbstverständlich konnte sich der Auftraggeber über das DS-Tracking-System jederzeit Auskunft darüber einholen, wo sich seine Ladung befindet und welche Station als nächste durchlaufen wird. Dabei nutzte der Auftraggeber die kurzen Kommunikationswege zwischen ihm und der DS-Spedition um seine eigene Planung auf den jeweiligen Stand zu bringen und so den Standort für den Einsatz der Schrottpressen termingerecht vorzubereiten. Die DS-Spedition mit Hauptsitz in München und Niederlassungen in Berlin und Bergisch Gladbach ist ein Volldienstleister in allen Fragestellungen der Logistik und im externen Supply Chain der richtige Partner. A kombinált rakodóforgalom Európából az európai kontinens keleti széléig mindig kihívást jelent minden szállítmányozó számára. Ha azonban a rakomány túlméretes szélességű és 45 tonnával túlsúlyos is, akkor az ilyen területen szerzett többéves Know-how nélkül képtelenség a szállítás szerződésszerű lebonyolítása. Az ilyen feladatokra a DS-Spedition mindig olyan csapatot állít össze, mely az Alpokon keresztüli nehéz tehergépjárművel történő szállítás és az oroszországi szállítások projektlogisztikája terén is a legtapasztaltabb szakemberekből áll.
Észak-Olaszországból a hulladékfém-préselőgépeket nehéz tehergépjárművekkel szállították az Alpokon és Németországon keresztül Lübeckig, majd onnan a projektlogisztikai szakemberek hajóval szervezték meg a továbbszállítást Szentpétervárra. A hulladékfém-préselőgépeket itt a DS-Spedition helyszínre érkezett munkatársának felügyelete mellett nehéz tehergépkocsikra osztották szét, melyek a rakományt egészen az Urálig szállították.
A megbízó természetesen bármikor tájékozódhatott a DS követő rendszeren keresztül arról, hogy éppen hol található a rakománya, és melyik lesz a következő szállítási állomás.
A megbízó ehhez a közte és a DS-Spedition között létrehozott rövid kommunikációs útvonalat használta, hogy saját tervezését aktualizálja és így a hulladékfém-préselőgépek alkalmazási helyét a szerződésnek megfelelően előkészítse.
A DS-Spedition, melynek fő székhelye Münchenben, fiókirodái Berlinben és Bergisch Gladbachban találhatók, teljeskörű szolgáltatóként a logisztika és a külső szállítási lánc mindenféle kérdésében megfelelő partner. Ieder groeiproces stelt haar eigen eisen aan potgrond. De drie belangrijkste zaken waar u op moet letten zijn structuur, voorbemesting en pH-waarde. Een goede voorbemesting en de juiste pH-waarden zijn van groot belang voor een succesvolle teelt. Potgrond vormt samen met steenwol en kokos de belangrijkste basis voor groeimediums. Het grote voordeel van potgrond is dat het een makkelijk medium is om mee te kweken. Potgrond is grotendeels biologisch en natuurlijk, waardoor het ook erg populair is onder (bio)kwekers. Bij gebruik van CANNA Terra voeding blijven er bijna geen resten achter in de potgrond. Hierdoor kan deze zonder problemen en op een milieuvriendelijke manier worden gebruikt als grondverbeteraar. De eigenschappen ‘biologisch’ en ‘natuurlijk’ die aan potgrond worden toegedicht, zijn overigens maar gedeeltelijk te rechtvaardigen. Vaak worden er namelijk niet-natuurlijke grondstoffen verwerkt in potgrond, zoals perliet en minerale meststoffen. Perliet is een niet-organische grondstof die industrieel wordt gewonnen.

A megfelelő előtrágyázás és a megfelelő pH-érték fontos szempont a sikeres termesztéshez. A virágföld a kőzetgyapot és a kókusz mellett a három legfontosabb termőközeg egyike. A virágföld legnagyobb előnye, hogy egyszerű benne a termesztés. A virágföld legnagyobb részben biológiai és természetes anyagokból áll, aminek köszönhetően igen népszerű a (bio)termesztők körében. A CANNA Terra tápanyag használata esetén szinte alig marad belőle vissza valami a virágföldben, így problémamentesen, természetbarát módon lehet talajjavítóként használni. A virágföldre általánosságban használt “biológiai és “természetes” jellemzők egyébként csak részben helytállóak. Gyakran alkalmaznak ugyanis nem természetes alapanyagokat a virágföldben, mint perlitet és műtrágyát. A perlit egy szervetlen alapanyag, mely iparilag állítható elő.

During the last 3 decades I've been working as a German, English, Dutch > Hungarian technical translator in different fields, like tech. engineering, agricultural machinery, manuals for operation, repair and maintenance of production lines and equipment, etc. My major field of expertise is automotive technology and agricultural machine industry. I have provided translation for Audi, GM, Ford, Mercedes, Volkswagen, John Deere, Wacker Neuson, Kverneland, Fendt, etc.
I have also taken part in long term technical interpreting projects.
I studied literary translation at ELTE University, so it was a great pleasure to translate the novel of WWI Austro-Hungarian submarine commander Georg von Trapp: "Bis zum letzten Flaggenschuss"; published in 2017.
