Hello,

I did some googling on this and it seems that the threads on this subject are rather old so I thought I'd ask around.

I have been doing EU translation for one of the big agencies the last few months. I don't know if it is outsourced to one or more agencies at this moment?

Anyone wants to share what a normal price is/how much they get? I am of course particularly interested in EN-DA but also in what the rates for other languages are/if they are similar.

A range of the rates paid by the European Commission and other EU institutions and agencies is publicly available (though not very easy to find unless you already know where to go), as well as the name of the winners of that particular open procedure (please regard lot 9).

34 euros per 250-275 words (EN/FR/DE to SV) is about what I charged when doing EU translations 5-10 years ago. Since then prices have dropped considerably, ending my interest. So in today's environment this looks like a good rate. Of course with EU text the difficulty level varies enormously.

I'm not sure, I'll try to find out... It will be helpful if you happen to know which open procedure it was?

Apparently, the EP is not as transparent as the EC. They publish in the OJ an annual list of all the contractors, translation agencies included, with a value greater than 15.000 EUR, but only the total amount awarded each year not the rate per page. Thank you so much.. I think it started early 2020 so it probably took place in 2019
