If I google my email address, a link comes up to the CV I used to have on my profile here on ProZ, but removed a few weeks ago. The reason why I removed it is that I decided that having my address and phone number there was a bit too public, but I am happy for outsourcers etc. to see this information. While you can't see the full CV from Google, you can however see my full address and mobile number. See more Hi Charlotte, Please note that the information displayed in CVs is indexed by search engines unless visibility permissions are set when uploading them to profiles. If a CV is removed later from a profile, or even when a profile is removed, it may take some time for this indexed information to also be removed from search engine caches since ProZ.com does not control them. Your CV was removed from ProZ.com's servers when removed from your profile. However, what you see in Google is a cached version of your CV (like a screenshot taken and saved by Google) and not your CV file in ProZ.com. You can wait until Google updates their indexes or ask them to remove such cached version of your CV here: http://www.google.com/support/webmasters/bin/topic.py?topic=8459 Hope this helps.
