How to add a phrase containing a number to Multiterm 2015 so that it modifies the number each time?

Is there a way to add a phrase containing a number to Multiterm so that it modifies the number each time?

For example I have a recurring phrase that is something like:

Doses of XXX mg/day and higher

The phrase is Always the same but the number is not. Is there a way to add it to Multiterm so that it replaces the number (like autopropagation does)?

Or am I just wishful thinking? Or have I missed something all along?

For me, handling of TM is easier than MultiTerm that is frequently incompatible with Trados Studio or it generates errors.

Hi Eileen

Unfortunately, MultiTerm does not offer such functions, it only recognizes and allows you to insert terms as they appear in the termbase.

But if the sentence is in the TM, TM lookup should automatically insert the sentence with the correct number (because it is a placeable). Doesn't this work in your case?

the TM works fine. The problem is when it is in the middle of a sentence where the rest of the sentence is different.

I know, the TM and Multiterm serve two different purposes. I make extensive use of Multiterm not only for repetitive words, but also phrases that repeat frequently. It really saves a lot of time!!! I was just hoping that I was missing something. Guess not.
