German term

Zopfhaare

German to English Science Cosmetics, Beauty Hair analysis
Still on hair analysis - here's some context:

"(Das Labor) verwendet offensichtlich auch ungemischte *Zopfhaare* von einem Kopf, aufgeteilt auf Strähnen."

Any good ideas? I'm not sure that "braid hair" or "plait hair" are very suitable given the context, but I'm prepared to be convinced otherwise.

TIA for your suggestions.

Discussion

David Willett (asker) Feb 19, 2006:
No, Melanie, it is most definitely "Zopfhaare", repeated several times through the text.
Melanie Nassar Feb 19, 2006:
Is it possible that this could be Zupfhaare?
