A style used for residential buildings in early 20th century Switzerland (and also in Germany, I gather).
"Die der Strasse abgewandte Fassade der im Fabrikantenstil gehaltenen Villa zeigt den Gartenzugang über die Veranda..."
I'm not sure there is a standard translation for this -- so far I have "factory owner style" in quotation marks.
