German to English Tech/Engineering Architecture
A style used for residential buildings in early 20th century Switzerland (and also in Germany, I gather).

"Die der Strasse abgewandte Fassade der im Fabrikantenstil gehaltenen Villa zeigt den Gartenzugang über die Veranda..."

I'm not sure there is a standard translation for this -- so far I have "factory owner style" in quotation marks.

A type of architecture common at the turn of the 19th/20th centuries.
Imposing facades faced the street, with less-imposing garden verandas in back.
