German term

Störstellen

German to English Social Sciences Psychology Survey
Background: An survey /acceptance analysis conducted by psychologists as to the impact of a new TV series for children.

Some of the aspects in connection with the series are not generally acceptable from a psychological and/or educational point of view (i. e. they may lead to self-doubts). In the analysis, they are called "Störstellen". These are not appropriate for children of the relevant age group and disturb the perception of the series.

2 KudoZ points awarded for this answer. Comment: "Thanks to all of you. I think a mixture of two answers given hits the point: disturbing aspects. Unfortunately, I cannot split the points to be awarded."
