Okay Olfat, I think you are right about what was literally required, but the asker was endevouring to translate a text related to some contract technical specifications and what you provided would not help him that is all. I am sorry I did not mean to upset you and there is nothing personal as you can see.

Well, no offense, but I think you don't understand my answer in the first place! The question is about "mm dia" (that's what the asker wrote), so my answer was "ملليمتر" for "mm" and "القطر" for "dia". I also added an explanation, did you see it?! Who said that I have to translate the whole context?!
