Arabic term

مواد مقاصة

Arabic to English Other Education / Pedagogy
This term comes from an academic transcript, meaning that the student did not study this subject in this university but studied it in another university before coming to this university. This university in turns doesn't require the student to study this subject but include it in his transcript as مادة مقاصة

I don't know if it is the same as "مواد معادلة", if this is the case it should be "transferred credit"
