VCI smal en collabeert goed.
IVC narrow and collapses well seems a bit ackward to me. It sounds contradictory. Should it be IVC narrow and closes well or contracts well (but then again, the heart chambers contract in order to pump the blood, no?) (IVC = inferior vene cava).

I think your instinct is right, "collapsing" does not sound "correct" in this context, and "contracting" should probably be used instead:
