I am not familiar with this field of study. Are the street names modern, or do they have any special significance to the Roman period?

It can be tricky when German towns have names like Graben!

Thank you! The Graben part had me doubting, you're right (the rest could be deduced as modern streets, but I've forgotten my Stadtbümmels in Wien). What really frustrated me is that all this could be seen in the Hoher Markt Museum, whose website had no maps!

All the street names in question are still in existence, all are in the First District, and they do indeed mark out the boundaries of Roman Vienna. The Donaukanal is the Danube Canal. What the author is saying is that the original Roman camp has left its mark in the street map of Vienna down to this day.
