Hello, I would recommend a USB condenser microphone like the Samson C01U, it's rather cheap and the quality is very good if you only do voice recording. You also need some editing software such as Audacity (free) or Pro Tools by Avid. The Samson comes with a free version of Sonar editing software. You also need a pop filter, which helps reduce the popping sound when you say word starting with "p" or "b". Play around with the settings, record a good demo and send it to potential clients... It comes with everything you need to set up a quick and cheap home recording studio: audiobox, condenser microphone, headphones, cables and Studio One recording software.
