This Powwow Meeting will be the 3rd meeting in Taiwan.
The last two meeting were somehow successful in providing freelance translators information about the industry and the possibilities for them. In this meeting, we would like to exchange experiences in project management. That is, the topic of the 3rd Powwow in Taiwan will be Project Management.
Anyone interested in translation industry and project management is welcome. Further details will be provided during this half a month. Please feel free to join us in the organisation of the meeting and participate in the meeting.
I heard that some of the interested freelancers would not be able to come on 1/1/07 and the place, Humanity Space, where we had the 1st Powwow meeting and where I planned to have the 3rd meeting, will be close on that date.
For this reason, it would be proper to have the meeting a week later.

I've just booked at Humanity Space for the meeting on Jan. 07, 2007. Proceedings can start from 10:00 or 12:00 to 16:00, depending on the participation.
All costs are covered save the lunch which is to be ordered and paid by each of us on spot, as it was the case for the first meeting. However, there are plenty of coffee, cookies, cakes and fruits.
I hope that there will be at least a dozen of interested freelancers. Please tell your friends.

It is a nice place where we had our first meeting in 2004 and this time we have an even bigger space, up to 36 persons. So, please invite your friends, if they are interested in our topic and activities as freelance translators in Taiwan.

There are some colleagues who haven't yet come up to put their names on the list, but they will come. Estimately, we will have a meeting of 20 freelancers. Most of them have either experiences in project management at some agencies or in diplomatic circle.
Don't forget that the time & date of the meeting will be from 12:00 to 16:00 at Humanity Space on January 7, 2007.
Please remember to bring your ID cards with you. I shall verify your identity and report to ProZ.com for your convenience of postings and job biddings.
