I grew up bilingually, speaking English and German. Since we were living in Germany, I learned German first, picking up English after moving to the U.S. when I was still very young. So I am tempted to bill myself as a native German speaker as well, but need to qualify it with an asterisk as it has been quite some time since I lived in Germany as an adult.
After another stint in the States, where I earned my Certificate in Translation, my family and I are now back in Spain, where I have lived off and on for about 10 years.
