My name is Maria Suntsova, I'm Russian and live in Kazan, Russia.

I have been fond of languages since my school years. That is why I decided not to enter the Faculty of Mathematics at Kazan State University, and entered the Faculty of Foreign Languages at Kazan Pedagogical University and studied German and English. I also wanted to be a teacher at that time. However, some years at school as a teacher proved that I was not "designed" for those activities. I still love teaching, but translating and interpreting are my favorites. So I changed my life again and started to work as a full-time translator/interpreter. After a few years, I found that I had accumulated quite a large base of customers. So I started my activities as a freelance translator/interpreter - and I like what I am doing now!

I have a family consisting of my husband and two wonderful sons, one of them has already finished school and studies at a university, he is also a model; and the other son is at school. He wants to be a marine zoologist and he can sing very well. We also have a wonderful German shepherd named Jutta and a big, white cat named Dead Shot whose right eye is green and left is blue. My family, including our pets, inspire me and provide me with the power and ideas I need.

Since my husband is a lawyer, I can be sure that he would clear all the cobwebs of legal texts for me, so I usually undertake to translate very sophisticated legal projects.)) As I previously wanted to be a mathematician, plus my Mom is a Maths teacher with over 40 years of experience, I also like translating scientific texts, including mathematics, technology, chemistry, biology, etc. I find it really cool to be a "humanities major" who is able to translate texts on nanomedicine or programming in C++.))

I love translating and interpreting, and this is what I call "to find avocation in one's vocation."
