I started off by translating documentary movies, both for dubbing and subtiteling. Being a journalist as well as a translator, anything in the fields of art, populare science, music, history and general culture or zeitgeist falls into my field of expertise. I also have a strong background in the arts and in music, and do work as a theatre musician when my time allows it.
As a translator, I have worked for Cinema Factory, ProTonMedia and other dubbing companies. Films I have translated include 'Yo, la peor de todas' and the script for the upcoming movie "Fragments of Grace", among others.
My translation jobs included the user guide for the SAMSUNG 420 mobile phone, a number of websites (among them the German version of www.manhunt.net) as well as a book on design icons by James Dyson.
