A professional freelancer since March 2010, I have translated and proofread a wide range of documents over the last 14 years. I specialise in marketing texts, website content and market research projects, but have translation and proofreading experience in many other areas as well. I have successfully translated numerous operating manuals and other technical documents, for example. I enjoy transcribing audio and video files too.

My aim is always to convey the meaning of texts as a whole in terms of their context instead of just the individual words and, having spent time in Germany, Austria and Switzerland as well as the UK and the US, I am well equipped to do this. 

With regard to CAT tools, I am an experienced user of MemoQ, Across and Phrase/Memsource. In addition, I use Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, and am happy to translate PDF and other non-editable files using Word. I am willing to purchase and/or download other software if this is necessary too.
