The daughter of Brits living in France, I grew up perfectly bilingual in English and French. I discovered a love of language from a very early age, taking German, Italian and Spanish classes at school. After spending a gap year teaching French as a foreign language to adults and being a French and English language assistant in a German school, I studied German and Arabic at the University of Oxford.

Translation had always been an attractive option and I started my freelance career after graduating in 2010. In the last seven years, I have translated over 1,200,000 words in a variety of fields. My natural curiosity and dedication to research has enabled me to provide quality work in areas as different as medical instruments, legal documents and technical manuals. To ensure a high standard, I work in the languages I am most familiar with: English, French and German.

I also provide translation within my role as an administrator for a church charity and I have also had the opportunity within this context to serve as an interpreter at national and international conferences, which I enjoy very much.
