I am a freelance English language trainer and translator from German into English and French into English. I have lived in Germany since 1989. For four years I worked in the customer care centre of a large German company. I specialise in translations where emphasis is placed on accuracy and capturing the right turn of phrase, providing accurate translations which are not recognisable as translation. My rates are around 90 cents for a 55 stroke sentence but the exact rate also depends on the degree of difficulty of the work and the length of the deadline. For easy translations which are not urgent I charge considerably less than for urgent and difficult ones. Examples of my work are available on request.
