I grew up bilingual (French/German) in both countries and hold graduate degrees in philology and literature from both German and US institutions.

Having lived for sixteen years in the United States where I worked in academics, I am at home in three languages and their cultural settings. I am therefore able to translate, that is: "to bring across", content and ideas not merely into your language but into your specific cultural setting.

My extensive research experience, together with a great intellectual curiosity allow me to draw on solid expertise in my fields and to familiarize myself quickly with any given subject.
