I have been active as a translator since 2004, although my experience as a linguist and teacher spans 35 years, following a degree in French and German from Oxford University, four Masters degrees and experience teaching in a number of different countries.  I translate in a wide range of different areas as described above, mainly business and academic, particularly social sciences. I have been responsible for the translation, coordination and editing of two books on Anthropology (Heritage Construction and Museology).

I am a first rate linguist and a translator who prides himself on the fluency and authenticity of the translated text. My pride as a linguist does not permit me to provide anything but first rate work.

I am a member of two professional organisations, MET and APTIC, and regularly attend conferences and workshops.
