MD, over 30 years of translating and editing experience. German, Polish and Hebrew are my native languages. Perfect knowledge of English and full passive knowledge of French. Over seven years full time freelancing translator for several major translation agencies in USA, Canada, Australia, Austria, Germany, France, UK, Ireland, Italy Spain and Israel. Deadlines are always meticulously kept. All documents are delivered neatly formatted. Using Trados, MS Office, Acrobat Reader and Acrobat Writer software for pdf. files, if necessary also Freehand or QuarkXpress for typesetting.
Rates depend on language pairs, sort and quantity of material, urgency and need for special effects like typesetting or scanning of images. Exact price quotes are always given upon reviewing a small sample of the material to be translated. My avarage rates are 0.15 US$ per target word.
