Having grown up bilingual in both Germany and the United States I started working as an interpreter for the press at international sporting events in 2001. In 2010 I changed my focus to translation. I spent about a year working on German to English medical transcriptions and have translated everything from websites to entire books since then.
My education includes graduating with the German high school diploma, the Abitur, from a high school in Munich, Germany, and earning B.S. and M.S. degrees from the University of Michigan.
I pursued a career in software engineering for many years and still develop software. My work included work in the animation, medical, financial, CAD/CAM and military industry.
