Why & How We Involve Family & Friends
Alcoholism, drug addiction and other addictions have a damaging and traumatic effect on the family, friends and work colleagues. We involve the family all the way through treatment, often before admission. We provide specialist therapy the patient as well as their family members.
We invite family members to visit Castle Craig on Sundays when we hold a family program. This involves educational lectures about alcohol & drugs, family therapy sessions and self-help meetings such as Al Anon and Families Anonymous.

Noi implicam familia in toate fazele tratamentului, de multe ori inaintea internarii. Oferim terapie specializata atat pacientului, cat si membrilor familiei.

Sibiu, Romania, July 16th, 2011 – Graham Jarvis, Chris Birch and Paul Bolton nailed the finals in the short and very competitive races in pouring rain. After several days of scorching heat and a qualification for the prologue in beautiful weather, many thought that the brutal heat would be the main adversary of the riders, but... thunderstorms moved in and just before the kick-off of the prologue, the track became soaked in water. This neither impressed the riders nor the thousands of spectators who came to celebrate the sport of Extreme-Enduro.
But the „worst enemy” or best friend of the riders, depending on their love/hate for man-made obstacles, was Andy, our „Prologue mastermind” (and inventor). With 40 tons of stone, 50 cubic meters of logs, 30 cubic meters of sand and tons of used tires he built another inner-city Prologue that kept our competitors on their toes. „The riders were impressed and challenged with the track, the Hobby-Class riders naturally faced a bigger challenge then the Pros but adjusted well to the changing weather conditions. With the rain setting in, the challenge certainly went up a few notches, but this iswhat our riders signed up for,” states Andy. The Kriega-obstacle with the hanging tires was a fun element, liked by many – except the ones, whose front fender got caught in one of them. The freestyle-jump over the container was a bit tricky – due to the soft sand in the landing area, but our competitors managed well!”
Graham Jarvis: „Pretty extreme weather today, but nothing we are not used to from the Red Bull Romaniacs ;-). It was a great start for me and I hope that the weather will get a bit better the coming days for the riding fun, which is part of why I am here. But I also hope that it stays extreme one way or the other, since I prefer the race to be as extreme as possible. I appreciate the great support from Husaberg, GoldenTyre and Adventure-Spec and am looking forward to the race.
Chris Birch: „I loved the prologue and for the race I am not thinking so much about the competition, but more about the surprises Martin „Frejn” has prepared for us in the mountains. And now that it has started raining, it feels very much more like at home in New Zealand and gives me an additional edge ;-)”
Paul Bolton: „I am stoked to be on the podium, which gives me a great starting position for this great race tomorrow.”
Letti: „Racing always involves a bit of luck and I was certainly lucky at the beginning, fell in the semi-finals and could therefore only participate in the 2nd-finals, where I had a great run. And the weather was perfect, I certainly prefer slippery and wet conditions and hope it will continue to rain a bit when the „real thing” starts tomorrow.” He finished 9th.
Martin „Frejn”: I am very pleased with the event today, the Live-HD-Video cast has been a huge additional burden and challenge for us organizers - but it was certainly worth it: XYZ fans followed the Prologue live and celebrated the Enduro-sport with the riders. We are extremely happy that we did not have any injuries and wish all riders loads of fun and good luck for the race starting tomorrow.

Sibiu, Rumänien, der 16. Juli 2011- Graham Jarvis, Chris Birch und Paul Bolton sind die Finalisten des kurzen aber sehr kompetitives Rennens der im vollen Regen stattgefunden hat. Nach mehreren Tagen Bullenhitze und nach einer Qualifikation inmitte eines schönes Wetters für den Prolog haben sich die meisten gedacht, dass die Hitze der stärkste Gegner der Riders sein wird. Aber.. ein heftiger Sturm hat genau vor Anfang des Prologs die Stadt durchschüttet und die Piste wurde von Wasser durchfeuchtet. Das hat aber sowohl die Riders als auch die Zuschauer, welche gekommen sind, um den Extrem-Enduro Sport zu feiern, gar nicht eingeschreckt.
Der ,,schlimmste Gegner” oder anders gesagt der beste Freund der Riders, abhängig von der Liebe/ vom Hass welche diese für die Hindernisse welche von Menschenhand erarbeitet werden, haben, war Andy, der ,,Mastermind des Prologs“ (und dessen Erfinder). Mithilfe von 40 Tonnen Steinen, 50 Kubikmeter Holzblöcken, 30 Kubikmeter Sand und Tonnen von alten Reifen hat er auch in diesem Jahr ein Prolog, der die Wettbewerber auf den Trab gehalten hat, inmitte der Stadt, aufgebaut.
,, Die Riders waren von der Piste beeindruckt und herausgefordert, natürlich hat die Hobby-Klasse eine größere Herausforderung darin gehabt, als die Pro-Klasse, aber sie haben sich gut an das wechselhafte Wetter angepasst. Klar ist zusammen mit dem eintreffenden Regen die Aufforderung höher gegangen, aber das ist wofür sich unsere Riders angemeldet haben,“ berichtet Andy. Der Kriega-Hindernis mit den angehängten Reifen war ein Fun-Element für die meisten, abgesehen von denjenigen deren Vorderflügel sich darin verfangen haben. Der Freestyle- Jump über dem Kontainer war ein bisschen betrügerisch wegen des weichen Sandes aus dem Landebereich, aber unsere Wettbewerber sind gut damit zurechtgekommen.“
Graham Jarvis: ,, Ein ziemlich extremes Wetter heute, nichts aber womit wir bei Red Bull Romaniacs nicht gewohnt sind ;-). Das war ein großartiger Start für mich und ich hoffe dass das Wetter in den folgenden Tagen für den Riding Fun besser wird, weil ich mich großteils dafür ja hier befinde. Auf der anderen Seite hoffe ich aber auch dass es extrem in einer oder in der anderen Richtung gehen wird, weil ich es bevorziehe, dass der Wettbewerb so extrem wie möglich ist. Ich bedanke mich für die großartige Unterstützung von Husaberg, GoldenTyre und Adventure-Spec und kann das Rennen kaum erwarten.“
Chris Birch: „ Ich habe den Prolog geliebt und bezogen auf das Rennen denke ich nicht so viel über das Wettbewerb wie über die Überraschungen welche uns Martin ,,Frejn“ in den Gebirgen vorbereitet hat. Und jetzt, da es angefangen hat zu regnen, fühle ich mich fast wie zu Hause in Neu Seeland und das gibt mir einen zusätzlichen Vorsprung ;-). “
Paul Bolton: „Ich bin geschürt, mich auf dem Podium zu befinden und das gibt mir eine sehr gute Startposition für dieses tolle Rennen das morgen anfängt.“
Letti: „ Das Motorrennen dreht sich immer auch ein bisschen um Glück und ich war sicherlich am Anfang ein Glückspilz, dann bin ich in der Halbfinale gefallen und konnte infolgedessen nur in der 2. Finale teilnehmen, wo ich ein prima Rennen gehabt habe. Das Wetter war perfekt, ich bevorziehe bestimmt rutschige und nasse Bedingungen und hoffe, dass es weiter ein bisschen regnen wird, bis morgen, wann ,,der echte Ding“ starten wird.“ Er ist neunter gekommen.
Martin „Frejn”: ,,Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit der Veranstaltung von heute, der Live-HD-Video Cast war eine riesige zusätzliche Bürde für uns Organisatoren- aber es hat sich bestimmt gelohnt: XYZ Fans haben den Prolog Live verfolgt und haben das Enduro Sport zusammen mit den Riders gefeiert. Wir sind extrem froh dass es keine Verletzte gab und wir wünschen allen Teilnehmern viel Spaß und Glück für das Rennen das morgen startet.

I started studying Applied Modern Languages 2 years ago. That is also when I started translating, by volunteering for a Film Festival (Astra Film Festival), where the translation of subtitles was needed.
There, I met a film producer and PR advisor, Rupert Wolfe Murray, with whom I started collaborating, by doing transcriptions and translations for him.
My Bachelor in International Economic Affairs (german field) also helps a lot when I have to translate economic texts, because it provides me with the economic background I need.
For the moment, I am living in France, I will finish here my 3rd year of Applied Modern Languages German/English, because I want to also improve my French skills.
I also lived for 3 years in Austria, I worked in the tourism field, so I had the chance to improve my German skills. It is worth saying that I started studying German as a mother tongue at the age of 6.
