Lebenslauf

I was born in California USA. I attended private schools and completed my Bachelor's in Speech Communication, with an emphasis on interpersonal and organizational conversation.

Not longer I moved to Austria. For all those who ask why leave the beaches of California for the banks of the blue Danube, here is the short answer: I came for one woman and stayed for another!

Here I got my business license as a translator and proofreader for German into English. I also earned a Master's in Educational Technology and began working on e-Learing and teaching projects.

Over time, my focus switched more and more to translation. I have been a freelance translator since 1998, specializing in marketing texts, video, art & wine.

In Sept. 2023 I became majority shareholder and managing director of Quick Translation GmbH in Vienna. Our company offers translations from and into virtually any language you can think of!

We look forward to expanding our network to provide quality and "quick translation" services to our growing customer base!
