With this letter, I would like to introduce myself to you and offer my Freelance Translation skills in the German<>English language pair available and ready to serve you.
Thank you for taking the time out of your busy day to review my translation and lingual abilities and familiarize yourself with my history and background.

I was born and raised in Mainleus, Germany. My youth in Germany was happy, healthy and colorful while growing up with the many cultural influences and traditions. I completed all required education and had started a career path in Germany. I worked for over 5 years as a state certified dental assistant and hygienist, exercising empathy and providing exceptional customer service even in situations that were less than ideal.

The decision was made in December of 1983, I would be leaving Germany to pursue my life and career in the USA and I have been living here, on and off, since.
Needless to say, I am familiar with the American way of live in great detail. As a matter of fact, I feel comfortable in either, the German or the American, social systems.

I received my Translation Certification from GTI (The Global Translation Institute) Portland, Oregon. In addition, I do hold an Associates of Science Degree in Business Administration which I completed with a 3.8/4.0 GPA.

My language and translation skills have been used frequently by Fortune 50 companies like MBNA America, Bank of America and Fulton Bank to translate customer correspondence, case work and banking documents. Other works include pro-bono translations for friends and family.
Upon request, I’ll be more than happy to provide verification from Bank of America and Fulton Bank, as well as, sample translations.

All projects are translated using SDL Trados Studio 2014.
My current rate is US $0.10 per word. This rate is subject to changes and negotiable. I am confident in my work and if it isn’t good enough for me, it will not be good enough for my client.
At this time, I do have a full time job and any freelance translation work will be completed after regular working hours and on the weekend. I do hope to be able to change this in the near future.

Ich war in Mainleus, Deutschland, geboren und wuchs da auch auf. Ich hatte eine gesunde und frohe Jugend in Deutschland, die mit vielen kulturellen Einflüssen und Tradition geprägt wurde. Im Dezember 1983, traf ich die Entscheidung Deutschland zu verlassen und mein Leben und meine Karriere in den USA aufzubauen. Trotz kleinen Unterbrechungen, lebe ich seit dem in den USA.
Deshalb kann ich auch mit Selbstvertrauen sagen, dass ich mit der amerikanischen Lebensweise vertraut bin. In der Tat, ich fühle mich im deutschen, sowie auch im amerikanischen Sozialsystem sehr wohl.

Ich vollendete alle Voraussetzungen und enthielt mein Übersetzung Diploma von GTI (The Global Translation Institute), Portland, Oregon. Hinzufügend halte ich ein Associates of Science Degree in Betriebswirtschaft, dass ich mit einen Notendurchschnitt von 3.8/4.0 vollendete.

Meine Übersetzung- und Sprachkenntnisse wurden häufig von Fortune 50 Firmen wie MBNA America, Bank of America und Fulton Bank benutzt um Kundenkorrespondenz, Sachpapiere und Bank Dokumente zu übersetzen.
Ausserden bearbeitete ich mehrere Übersetzungprojekte für Freunde und Familie kostenlos.

Meine derzeitige Rate ist US $0.10 per Wort. Meine Rate kann sich je nach den Bedingungen des Auftrags ändern und verhandelt werdern. Ich habe Zuversicht in meiner Arbeit und mein Motto ist, wenn es nicht gut genug für mich ist, dann ist es auch nicht gut genug für den Klienten.
Ich arbeite Vollzeit und jegliche Freiberufliche Übersetzungen werden nach meiner geregelte Arbeit und am Wochenende erledigt. Meine Hoffnung für die Zukunft ist das zu ändern damit ich mich voll auf Freiberufliche Übersetzungen konzentrieren kann.
