Law degree from Oxford University. Postgraduate legal research at EUI, Florence.
Institute of Linguists' Diploma in translation (German to English with distinctions).

1997-2002: Five years in Berlin translating (generally legal), teaching legal English/ Anglo-American law to German lawyers and consulting.

2002 onwards: In-house position as a lawyer-linguist. No longer available for free-lance work (but still quite like playing around on kudoz when I have the time)
