Hello, nice to meet you. My name is Jane Mackay and I am
principal of Business English Training. My 20+ years of studying, working, and
living around the world have taught me the importance to everyone involved in
international business of being able to express themselves clearly and
accurately in English. It’s this belief, and a passion for helping people
communicate and conduct business in the English language, that led to me create
this company.

Born in New Zealand and having lived in both the United
States and United Kingdom, I am a native English speaker fluent in the US, UK,
and Australasian varieties of English, including International English. I am
also conversant in German and Italian, with knowledge of Russian, Serbian,
Croatian, and Bosnian.

I have spent 10+ years helping academics and businesspeople
around the world express themselves clearly and accurately in written English
via my company Janemac Editing.

My professional experience has given me familiarity with the
specific roles and terminology of sales, marketing, business administration,
accounting/bookkeeping, human resources (HR), project management, and customer
service across several industries.
