After 30 years of international business management and marketing in the health care industry, I have decided in 2016 to create my own business as professional freelance translator. I have obtained a Master degree in specialized multilingual translation last year at the University of Grenoble Alpes, a key member of the "european masters in translation" network. I am French and German bilingual. English has been my daily business language for 30 years. I worked as an internal translator from April until September 2017 for an international language services company in Austria, translating mainly technical, commercial, marketing and some legal documents from German and English into French. Since October 2017 I have been running my own translation business focusing on specialty areas where I have a soldid experience : health care (in particular medical devices, oncology and venous access), marketing, commercial and labour contracts, business and commercial management and specialized technical translations (machine tools, logistics, energy and environment, woodwork, quality and safety audits and procedures). I have my own MemoQ professional licence and I am also very familiar with the use of Across and SDL Trados. I have a set of regular customers (translation agencies and direct customers), ordering mainly technical, marketing and health care translation and revision jobs. Some of my key strengths are reliability, flexibility, quick turn around, technical expertise and strong professional ethics. My objectives are to gain new regular customers, continue to develop my customers satisfaction and loyalty and grow my professionnal skills through ongoing training.
