When I was a child I used to watch many cartoons and TV series for kids. Sometimes, there were puns that I did not understand, and I remember spending a lot of time investigating their meaning without understanding it. I can still remember the day when I realized that I probably did not understand those jokes because in my language they did not make sense. I remember vividly the moment when I understood my first wordplay by investigating its meaning in its original language. In my language it was not funny, but in the original language was a blast!
Since that moment that curiosity towards linguistics led me to study foreign languages, first in a linguistic high school and then at the university. I currently speak English, French, Spanish and German. In 2019 I attended a Masters in Film Adaptation and Translation for dubbing, and I had the great fortune of having the voice actress and adapter Marina Guadagno as a teacher, from whom I learned the adaptation techniques, as well as those of subtitling learned from Teacher Maggie Paparusso . My creative skills together with the techniques learned during the Master, have allowed me to develop criticality and sensitivity suitable for localization and adaptation.
I love cinema, multiculturalism, people and the sun. I like playing, writing songs, fantasizing and pole dancing. My friends describe me as a cheerful, spontaneous person with an infectious laugh. I am able to strongly empathize with others, a quality that allows me to do an excellent job while adapting, translating or coordinating activities between multiple parties.
