My name is Julia Ruiz Belaustegui, and I am a translator with a background on legal translation. I studied a double degree in Translation and Interpreting and Hispanic Philology at the University of Córdoba, Spain. I also studied the MA in Translation Studies in Cork and the master’s in legal Translation in ISTRAD.   

I have studied in El Centro Ingles, from kindergarten to high school, and I started learning English and German, receiving excellent academic and personal training, for which I had the honour of being elected Head girl in 2016-2017.

            Currently, I´m working in Mannheim as a Language Assistant in a school. The objective of accepting this position as a conversation assistant, awarded by the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, has been to continue learning and improving my C language, German, while helping students to improve and reinforce their oral and communicative skills in Spanish.

In addition, I have discovered that I am very interested in legal, economic translation, so I started on 21-22 my bachelor’s degree in law, which will complement all my studies. Furthermore, I am taking a course in Artificial Intelligence and Linguistics, PLN and programming for humanists.
