My Current Info
As a freelancer since January, 2002, I translate German into my native language, American English. With the experience that I earned during my career in the automotive industry, I have specialized in the translation of the following subject matter:

automotive industry
quality management(e.g. CIP, BPR)
My Background
I earned two degrees during my education, a Bachelor of Arts in German (Honors) and a Master of International Business in Accounting and Finance. During this time, I also interned with Price Waterhouse in Munich and with a member of the German Parliament in Bonn. I completed study abroad programs at the Universities of Trier and Bonn.
My ten years of work experience in the automotive industry was split between Germany where I worked at Volkswagen's corporate headquarters in Wolfsburg, and the United States, where I worked for the Robert Bosch Corp. in their automotive headquarters in Farmington Hills, Michigan and in their largest North American manufacturing facility in Charleston, South Carolina.
