Hello there! I'm a 26-years-old Italian girl named Martina. I graduated last March, and I currently work part time at a museum and have been looking for full time employment. I moved to Northern Italy two years ago now, and plan to move abroad in the future. My dream is to be able to reconcile or combine my occupation with my passion for translation.

I have various interests such as geopolitics, history, political science, but also lighter topics such as video games, manga, comics, TV series, films and anime. Lately I've rediscovered my passion for volleyball, and in September I intend to practice it, or at least as soon as this awful heat will let us breathe. 

My love for languages and cultures other than my own led me to choose translation as my major. My lifelong passion for media and video games were then combined in my Bachelor's thesis on the history of video game localisation. During my Master's degree I then dedicated myself to professional fields such as medicine and law, with a focus on contracts.
