Born in 1962, Master's in technical translation (Diplom-Fachübersetzer) from Hildesheim University (Germany), in English, French, Spanish with German in 1989, spent a year in Austin,Texas as a Fulbright student and a semester at the University of Manchester, England. Three years as a terminologist with InTra eG in Berlin, then started my own translation company in Oldenburg, Lower Saxony in 1991. I translate technical and legal material (I'm from a family of judges), including marriage certificates etc., but I also enjoy transcreation and advertising. In the past, I also did some copywriting for Dell Computer Corp for the German market.
