Starting as a translator over 20 years ago when I was living in Japan I would never have thought to end up in Italy as a full time freelance translator. Life is not predictable and may take you to very different places and environments you then need to adjust to.

I spent my childhood in Iran and Germany and have developed a passion for languages, a passion that allows me to work a lot, to work very efficiently and to still enjoy what I am doing. I have studied Arabic, ENGLISH, French, Japanese and ITALIAN and today concentrate on the European languages as those are the ones most requested by my clients in Italy.

I work as a freelance translator for agencies and corporate clients providing translations for a variety of industry sectors, including IT, MANUFACTURING, TOURISM, TEXTILE, FLORICULTURE. It is TECHNICAL TRANSLATIONS that are most frequently required by my regular clients. The translation projects comprise smaller documents like PRESS RELEASES, PRODUCT DESCRIPTIONS, LEGAL AGREEMENTS and large ones like MANUALS for heavy machinery, and important regular assignments like the translation of the ANNUAL FINANCIAL REPORT (200,000 + words) of a big American group operating in the AVIATION SERVICES sector.

Feedback from my clients, so far, was always positive and has lead to many repeat assignments. While this is satisfying it still leaves me with the feeling of “well, not bad, but I could do more”.
