Who I am
I am a native speaker of German (Austria) with 15+ years of experience as a freelance translator and interpreter specialising mainly in medical and pharmaceutical translation.

My qualifications
I hold a degree in Translation and Interpreting from the University of Graz, Austria, and a Ph.D. in Literary Translation from Dublin City University.

My experience
Texts that I translate in the medical & pharmaceutical field include: product information (SmPC, package leaflets, labelling), adverse event reports, informed consent forms, clinical trial agreements, pharma marketing documents, clinical trial protocols (synopses), standard operating procedures, patient information leaflets, manuals for medical devices, instructions for use, press releases, surgical technique guides, medical reports, etc. I am also familiar with the EMA-QRD templates and EDQM standard terms.

I also translate corporate communications, company websites, tourism brochures, exhibition catalogues and academic articles (humanities) on a regular basis.

I offer consecutive interpreting for conferences, business meetings, events, mediations, safepass courses, etc.
