Passionate about IT engineering and new technologies, I have been working both as a freelance IT consultant for the financial industry and a translator for the last 10 years.
Before turning to translation and consulting freelance work, I received a scientific education from France and Germany (2 masters' degrees), and America (Electrical Engineering PhD).
For the translations part of my job, I like to specialize in technical translations related to:
financial regulations (EMIR, BASEL, KID, ...), electrical engineering, computer science, automatic control, among others... But I like to keep an open mind because I love discovering new fields of research and bodies of knowledge.
As a belgian resident I actively practice dutch english and french on a daily basis in a professional setting. This allows me to stay up to date with evolving vocabularies and neologisms in my fields of focus.
