I hold a Degree in Translation from the Advanced School for Interpreters and Translators of Forli, SSLMIT - University of Bologna, Italy (2005).

I work from English, German and French into Italian and I have translation and liaison interpreting experience in the following fields:

EU: legislative documents such as directives, regulations and decisions; recommendations; opinions; reports in the field of international trade; antidumping policy; health and consumers affairs; regional policy; enterprise and employment and culture;

Technical subjects: automotive, landscape gardening, gold and jewellery, Italian regional specialties;

Medical sciences: medical genetics texts, web sites and promotional material for post-graduate training and awareness-raising events, grant applications and projects; localisation of a medical SW

Cultural sector: websites for cultural events; subtitles for a film festival on human rights;

Marketing and business: health and safety handbook, customer service communication, editorial material, internal corporate magazine

I enjoy being in multilingual and multicultural contexts: I studied and worked in the UK, Germany and Luxembourg and have worked for the European Commission, the Italian Cultural Institute in London and DaimlerChrysler in Stuttgart, along with translation agencies, private companies and a non-profit organisation in Italy.

At the moment I live between Italy and the US.
