Bio

----------------------------

In sixth grade, I read Shakespeare's comedies in Bulgarian and fell hopelessly in love with the translator. It was purely platonic, of course – the good man was as old as my grandpa. But that was not important. From this moment on, I knew - this was going to be my profession.

Upon graduation from the Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski in 1995, I started translating. Despite shorter or longer breaks, I stuck to my great passion – translation.

And then German was added to English. In the autumn of the year 2000, I moved to Germany for personal reasons. I learned the language on the spot, now I teach it. The logical development was predictable – state examination for translators and interpreters, then sworn translator (District Court Heidelberg).
