I am a qualified French Engineer (B.Sc Eng) and I have been a full-time freelance French technical translator for more than 20 years. I am member of the ITI and SFT.
I specialise in electrical/mechanical engineering, electronics, telecom, machine-tools, gas and oil, localisation, software and hardware, contracts, HTML, C++, RC etc.
Apart from using Word, Excel and PowerPoint, I use various DTP packages: FrameMaker, InDesign, QuarkXPress, Interleaf, PageMaker.
I also use various CAT tools: Trados, DejaVu, Transit, memoQ
I translate from English to French and from German to French
