I have more than 39 years of translation experience and have worked as a freelance translator for over 30 years.



I mostly work for translation agencies and thus have experience in many different areas, but I have specialized in (in alphabetical order) Advertising / PR, Agriculture, Business / Commerce, Civil and Industrial Engineering (general), HR, Livestock / Animal Husbandry, Marketing / Market Research, Travel / Tourism.

I have translated websites for various companies, contracts, marketing material, tourist brochures, technical and other manuals, speeches, research reports within pork farming, only to mention a few.


I was born in Denmark, lived in Germany during my school years, and as an adult returned to Denmark. I speak both Danish and German fluently and without any accent. Due to my background and my university degree in commercial, legal and technical translation at Syddansk Universitet in Denmark I consider both languages my mother tongue.
