Translation has been the focus of my interests since early on, and so far, I have had the opportunity to gain invaluable experience in different areas of the language industry. After finishing my Master's Degree in English and Russian, I spent 5 years teaching graduate courses in Specialised Translation from Russian at the University of Zadar, Croatia. During this time, I participated in numerous Translations Studies conferences, seminars and summer schools. 

Since 2015 I have been based in Berlin working full-time as a freelance translator from English, German, and Russian. My freelance career has allowed me to specialise primarily in technical, marketing, and travel texts as well as to develop an independent work ethic. Combined with my academic background which significantly contributed to my proficient use of language, this unique professional path formed me into a dedicated and hard-working language specialist.

Furthermore, I am still eager to expand my skill set as recent advancements in computer-aided and machine translation continue to spark my interest in translation technology.
